This 10-year genre of work captured the magic of Island Life. It was a very rewarding experience and expression of happiness within community. For years, painting along the sidewalk of Balboa Island was a true joy of an abundance of friendship and hospitality. It was a true delight to capture on canvas and linen generations of family and friends in holiday celebration, reunion and escape from business work and obligations of our rush-rush lives. Families on the beach, little boats floating in the water on the shoreline, sail boats, sand castles and laughter in the air, flowerbeds in Spring and the appreciation of a walk along the sidewalk.
Catalina Island has been a new land to explore and capture it’s romance and light…
